With Semi bespoke you get the same experience and expertise from Shaun and Freya but in a more streamlined process. Your measurements allow them to work from blocks that already exist tweaking them to make them perfect for you.

Our semi-bespoke suit allows you to create a garment that reflects your individual style while drawing on our heritage of British craftsmanship. You’ll have the opportunity to select your cloth, lining, and an array of design details — from single or double-breasted jackets to your choice of lapel (peak, notch, or shawl), pocket configuration, button style, vents, and trouser cut. Every detail is refined to your preference.

We offer three levels of jacket construction within our semi-bespoke service. Our classic British structure features a lightweight chest canvas for shape, a softly padded shoulder, and subtly roped sleeveheads for a timeless silhouette. For those seeking a more relaxed drape, we offer an Italian-inspired soft shoulder, and for effortless sophistication, a fully unstructured and unlined design ideal for more casual settings.

During your consultation, our team will guide you through each option to ensure your finished piece achieves the perfect balance of comfort, style, and individuality.

What We Do

1. Book Your Consultation

Begin by booking a private appointment at our Berkhamsted atelier or the London fitting room. Wherever we meet, your experience will be tailored around you from the very first conversation.

2. Exploring Style & Fabric

During your consultation, Shaun or Freya will take time to understand your lifestyle and how you like to dress. Together, we’ll refine the details of your garment, from cut and cloth to lining and finishing touches. Creating something that feels distinctly yours.

3. Precision Measuring

To ensure the perfect fit, we’ll take a detailed set of measurements and use fitting garments to assess your posture, balance, and proportions. Every adjustment is carefully noted to create a made-to-measure pattern unique to you.

4. First Fitting

Around six weeks later, your garment will be ready for its initial fitting. This is where we evaluate the shape and drape, fine-tuning areas such as sleeve length, jacket waist, and trouser line to ensure comfort and precision.

5. Final Refinements

Once your fitting is complete, our expert alterations tailors make the final adjustments by hand, perfecting every detail so the finished piece fits seamlessly.

6. Completion & Collection

Your made-to-measure garment is now ready. You’re welcome to return for a final try-on at our fitting room, or we can arrange secure delivery directly to you. Every piece represents a balance of craftsmanship, comfort, and understated elegance — made exclusively for you.
