in store, which can be tailored as a semi bespoke creation crafted to your measurements, or indulge in the fully bespoke experience, designing a garment from the ground up to realise your dream piece with absolute precision.
Pricing
Semi-bespoke dresses and gowns start from £1,300.
More complex semi-bespoke designs, including bridal commissions, typically range between
£1,800 – £2,500, depending on fabric and detailing.
Fully bespoke dresses and gowns start from £2,000.
Bespoke bridal gowns, involving extensive design development, structured construction and multiple fittings, typically start from £4,500.
Fully Bespoke
Our fully bespoke service allows you to bring your vision to life, a truly personal creation crafted by Freya with artistry and precision.
Your journey begins with inspiration.
Freya will translate your ideas into hand-drawn sketches, presenting a selection of designs tailored exclusively for you. Once your perfect design is chosen, it is transformed into a
toile ~ a fabric prototype made for your first fitting.
Freya will personally refine the toile to your exact measurements and silhouette, reworking and perfecting it as many times as needed until every line and detail feels flawless. Only once we are both entirely satisfied is your final piece entrusted to our expert bespoke seamstress, who will craft it in your chosen fabric.
Our seamstress brings couture-level expertise from a renowned luxury atelier in Knightsbridge, ensuring your piece is executed to the highest standard of craftsmanship.
The result is a truly one-of-a-kind creation, made exclusively for you, to your exact measurements, and destined to be cherished for a lifetime.
Semi Bespoke
Our semi bespoke service offers the perfect balance of luxury in a more stream lined process. Ideal for those who wish to experience a garment in person before commissioning their own, this option allows you to try on the sample shape before your piece is expertly tailored to your exact measurements.
Each design is then individually re-crafted for you, ensuring an impeccable fit and offering the opportunity for subtle design refinements to reflect your personal style.
You may select your fabric from a curated collection of exquisite cloths, or Freya will source the exact fabric you had in mind.
What We Do
1. Book Your Consultation
Begin your journey with a private appointment at our Berkhamsted atelier, an intimate space dedicated to design and craftsmanship. Relax with a coffee as Freya or Shaun talks you through the process ahead and you share your vision.
2. Explore Style & Fabric
During your consultation, you will have the opportunity to explore our curated selection of luxury fabrics and finishes as well as try on and in house samples. Together, we will refine your design, making any subtle adjustments to ensure it perfectly captures your vision.
3. Precision Measuring
To achieve the perfect fit, your measurements will be carefully taken in person. Every detail is considered, ensuring your piece drapes flawlessly and feels effortless to wear.
4. Completion & Collection
Within six to eight weeks for semi bespoke your piece will be complete. For bespoke the process is slightly longer involving multiple fittings, ideally we ask for at least 3 months but this is flexible according to your timeline.
Collection can be from our atelier, or we can arrange secure delivery to your door. Each creation embodies the Shaun Oliver philosophy: craftsmanship, comfort, and understated elegance, made exclusively for you.
